All-on-X Implants with Full Mouth Extractions, Bone Grafting, Implants and Zirconia Bridges
This professional chef and nice gentleman came to us experiencing advanced periodontal disease (gum disease), severe bone loss, and loose teeth. Unfortunately, his natural teeth could not be saved, and he was ready for a long-term, healthy solution.
To begin, we performed a deep cleaning (scaling and root planning) on all four quadrants and removed the teeth that had active infections. This important first step lowered harmful bacteria levels and prepared his mouth for future treatment.
The next phase was a Full Mouth Restoration using All-on-X dental implants. During surgery, all remaining teeth were carefully extracted, and all infected tissue or damaged bone was removed. To create a strong foundation for implants, we completed an alveoloplasty (a smoothing of the jawbone) and placed bone grafting with PRF (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) to encourage faster, healthier healing. This also reduces the risk of bone spurs or sore spots later on.
The patient left our office on the day of surgery with a set of non-removable, fixed Provisionals for six months while his mouth healed and the implants integrated with the jawbone. After healing, we created his final fixed zirconia implant-retained bridges, which are strong, natural-looking, and designed to last for many years.
Today, he enjoys a stable, confident smile and improved oral health with his long-lasting full mouth dental implants.
