Teeth whitening isn't a complicated procedure for our guests, and it is surprisingly affordable. And you can have the bright, white smile you have always dreamed of.

Why Are Teeth Discolored?

Teeth naturally have some pigment to them. There are yellows and reds, and some gray, in varying amounts, in everyone's teeth. Beyond that, our teeth pick up stains throughout our lives. Smoking and drinking coffee can cause dark stains. But even healthy foods such as berries and soy sauce have pigments that are absorbed by our teeth.

These accumulated stains, and even the natural pigments in your teeth, can be bleached out with the peroxides present in professional teeth whitening gels, leaving you with naturally beautiful, sparkling teeth.

The Teeth Whitening Procedure

We prefer starting with a comprehensive examination, but that isn't essential. It is good to start with recently cleaned teeth. And if you have cavities or leaky fillings, you won't be a good candidate. But if all these things are taken care of, the teeth whitening procedure is fairly straightforward.

There are two basic techniques. One technique, the Sapphire whitening, is done in the office. We do all the work for you, and in an appointment that lasts a little more than an hour, we can brighten your teeth about ten shades.

The home whitening system is simpler and less expensive, and will deliver similar results, but you have to do it yourself at home. For this technique, we start by taking impressions of your teeth, from which we make a set of close-fitting, clear, custom trays. You place the bleaching gel in them yourself and wear them for about 30 to 60 minutes per day for two weeks, for dramatic whitening.

A nice benefit of the home teeth whitening technique is that you can continue the treatment for as little or as long as you want, until you reach your desired level of whiteness.

Another option, for maximum, fast whitening, is to combine the Sapphire in-office technique and the at-home technique.

Teeth Whitening Maintenance

The bleaching gel whitens your teeth permanently. However, cola beverages, highly pigmented fruits, sauces, and other substances will continue to stain your teeth. Thus, it is desireable to have a touch-up treatment periodically to maintain maximum whiteness.

Teeth Whitening Promotion

For regular guests who come in for their scheduled checkups, we have a special low fee for the teeth bleaching. Then, each time you come to the office for a cleaning, we give you a free bleaching syringe, so you can continue to maintain maximum teeth whiteness.
