"We observe in our guests how much healthier they look overall. Patients are just happy that they can sleep well, function normally again, and are out of pain and misery." -Dr. Sam Sadati

Millions of people are doing their best to function on a daily basis under stress, fatigue, chronic headaches, migraines, painful jaw popping, and neck and shoulder aches. They are usually using prescribed pain killers, muscle relaxants, or complex surgery to cope with their discomfort. The reality is that a highly trained dentist can better understand the relationship of the jaw bone, joints and muscles... to treat the source of the problem, not just the symptoms.

If you suffer from any of those symptoms, or teeth sensitivity, grinding or worn teeth, Dr. Sadati can help. Unlike other dentists, he knows that every case is different and has rounded out his knowledge by pursuing several disciplines in Neuromuscular Dentistry.

Using the K7 for computerized analysis, Dr. Sadati can examine your bite alignment to determine the proper, relaxed position of the jaw needed to provide relief. The TENS unit offers pleasant relaxation therapy to stressed, fatigued jaw and facial muscles. A highly advanced custom-fitted NTI orthotic can also help, allowing some guests to start feeling better on the first day.

Dual Neuromuscular Dentistry Options, with our South Florida Dentist

Sometimes the cause of Temporal Mandibular Joint Disorder, known as TMD, are imbalanced or tensed jaw muscles pulling the jaw out of alignment. In other cases, improper dental restorations have left the patient with the inability for the teeth and jaw to meet in a relaxed, balanced way... causing strain and tension on the muscles.

In either situation, this South Florida dentist has the experience and understanding needed to offer relief. Through muscle relaxation, NTI custom bite devices, and night guards, his dental guests begin treatment. After about a week, Dr. Sadati brings them back in to reevaluate the jaw and bite registration on a mouth model that's mounted on a sophisticated simulator. This simulator replicates the action of mastication, or chewing, and evaluates the quality of their new dental restorations, detecting any interferences in their mouth during normal movement.

TMJ treatment is also one of the most important considerations in cosmetic dentistry. If you're considering porcelain veneers or crowns, bridges, implants, or other cosmetic dentistry procedures, you can trust Dr. Sadati to carefully evaluate your current bite alignment and rule out any TMJ problems. This protects your investment and prevents your beautiful new restorations from being worn down or fractured. Our dentist is dedicated to providing the best of health with the best aesthetics. By offering his expertise in TMJ evaluation with cosmetic work, you'll look great and you'll feel better too.
