Mary Lynn has been my patient for a few years for the routine dental work. Knowing that she was a top executive and someone that is conscious of her appearance, I brought up to her attention that she could have a much more attractive smile that would match with her personality, face and current occupation. I must say it took her a while to finally decide for herself that she wanted to go ahead with my recommendation.
Mary Lynn had some over crowding of her front teeth mixed with some old stained composite fillings in between them as well as a yellowish tone color of her natural teeth. Since she decided to only have her upper front teeth rejuvenated, we first started with a teeth whitening procedure to bring out the lightest color of the rest of her teeth so that we can then match our new sculptured restoration to the rest of her teeth. The next step was to prepare her teeth and place provisional restorations on them while the final restoration was being sculptured and fabricated in the lab. Once the final restorations were ready (a combination of porcelain crowns, onlays and veneers), they were bonded to her natural teeth.
Mary Lynn know has an absolutely beautiful smile that lights up her face. She is planning to have her lower teeth done soon.
